Dr. Betsy Diamant-Cohen lived in Israel from 1986-1998 where she successfully incorporated the principles of Barbara Cass-Beggs™ Listen, Like, Learn approach into traditional library programs for children. Since returning to the U.S., Betsy has been working as a children's librarian and programming specialist. In 2004, she was named by Library Journal as a Mover and Shaker in the library world.
